Frequently Asked Questions

We love Las Palmas, it's one of the world's greatest beach-side cities and we want you to enjoy your time here to the full. So if you have any questions, or if you need advice on what to do or where to go, we're here to help. Below are some of the questions that we frequently get asked about the Las Palmas Penthouse, but if your query isn't there, send us an email and we'll get back to you straight away.

How far is the Las Palmas Penthouse from the Airport and the beaches of the South
?
It takes around 35 minutes by taxi to reach us from the airport and costs around €35-€40. If you are travelling up from the beaches of the south, it's a 50-minute drive from Maspalomas/Playa del Inglés.

If I drive, what is parking like?
We are situated a two-minute walk from an underground car park, Parking La Puntilla. Free street parking is also available but in short supply. 


Are there shops and restaurants nearby?
We are right opposite a good-size Superdino supermarket and a short walk from a Spar. There are countless restaurants nearby along the seafront and in the surrounding side streets, including the famous Marinara for seafood and great steaks at Casa Carmelo. Two minutes away is the old market hall, the Mercado del Puerto, with its ironwork designed by Gustav Eifel:  it houses a myriad of great tapas restaurants as well as market stalls selling fresh, local produce.


What time is check in?
Providing we do not have guests staying in the apartment on the night before your arrival you are welcome to check in at any time. If we do have visitors leaving that day we ask you to wait till 4 pm, as cleaning now takes longer due to Covid-19,  although you are welcome to drop off your bags with us anytime. Please check with us before your arrival and we can advise you.


What time is check out?
Likewise, if you have a late flight and we do not have guests booked in the apartment that night you are welcome to leave at leisure; otherwise we request you depart at around 11 am.


Is there Internet access?
There is a very fast wireless broadband connection on both floors of the apartment.


Do you serve breakfast or other meals?
We do not provide breakfast or other meals. We do provide free tea, Nespresso coffee pods, milk and fresh fruit for all guests upon arrival.
